From Phaplu, we can easily hike to Namche Bazaar enjoying lowest Sherpa culture, less touristic travel areas Phaplu, Nunthala, Kharikhola, Surkhe. Then can continue the busy tourist areas such as Phakding, Dhudkoshi River valley.
Kathmandu to Phaplu flight also leaves in morning and an irregular flight, 3-4 times in a week Like Lukla flight. The reservation must be done earlier which save your time.
