Itinerary

Everest Gokyo Lake Trekking Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla (2850 m) trek to Phakding (2650 m). Overnight stay at Guest House.

Our first day trek start from Kathmandu to Lukla flight after having early morning breakfast in Kathmandu. Once we arrive at lukla we will head towards Phakding.

Day 03: Trek Phakding - Namche Bazzar(3440m.). Overnight at Guest House.

In second day we will walk towards Namche Bazaar from Phakding. Namche Bazaar is the second destination for Everest Base Camp. Then we will have a day trip in Namche bazaar and stay overnight there.

Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar (3440m.). Overnight at Guest House.

Fourth day would be a rest day in Namche Bazaar. On this day we will hike around Namche Bazaar and observe the Sherpa lifestyle, valley, Mt. Everest and other surroundings and stay overnight in the same hotel.

DAY 05: Trek Namche Bazaar – Khumjung/ Phortse Tenga (3700m) and stay overnight there.

DAY 06: Trek Phortse Tenga – Dole (4040m and stay overnight there.

DAY 07: Trek Dole– Macchermo (4470) and stay overnight there.

DAY 08: Trek Macchermo – Gokyo (4800). Overnight at Guest House.

DAY 09: Gokyo lake excursion with Gokyo Ri (5360m). Overnight at Guest House.

DAY 10: Trek Gokyo– Macchermo (4770m). Overnight at Guest House.

DAY 11: Trek Macchermo – NAMCHE. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 12: Trek Namche - Lukla (2850m.). Overnight at Guest House.

Our final day's trekking follows the Dudh Kosi down to Lukla. It takes around 7 hours to go back to Lukla where we stay for the night. This last evening calls for a celebration. We have a party with our Sherpa guides and porters. We sample some change (local beer) and try out some Sherpa dance steps. Altogether an end to a memorable trip on a merry note.
